  1. Hi Anthea,
Today has been quite interesting, and although many of the things were not new it was a refresher course which jogged my long-term memory.

    1. So true. I had fun with excel. Even though I had worked in it before the refresher course was much appreciated. Now at the end of the term I won't be bogged down with calculating grades.

Additionally, I truly appreciate the information on downloading videos from youtube. I can now show lots of relevant videos to my students.

  4. Eloise and Jacintha are pleased to be bloggers. Today, we learnt how to make a movie, how to use Excel to tally our students' grades and sort them from the highest academic achiever to the lowest or vice versa. We also learnt how to use mail merge and we also discovered that there free software websites that we can access in order to enhance our students' learning.

  7. Well I always knew about blogging, but never explored it. Now I have a new tool that I can use to communicate with my students and assign homework, even if I'm away from school.

  12. Today was another exciting venture. Learned a lot about web sites and testing the credibility of these websites. Technology has its negatives and positives. One negative, is the fact that nothing is private. Also, technology requires much work and dedication as an educator.

My colleagues will definitely receive all the information we learnt these pass three days. I am encouraging us to continue this blog and share ideas, ask questions and generally give encouragement whenever the need arises. Have a Great Day!
